In Support of Adeara & More Than a Fad

Connect with fellow women in business, explore sustainable fashion & support the Edmonton based charity, Adeara Recovery Centre.

Adeara is an accredited addiction recovery centre for women & children. Their missions is to empower & equip women to live in sustainable recovery through hope, healing & restoration by providing counselling & life skills support.

More Than a Fad is a local non-profit thrift store that sells pre-loved clothing, home goods, furniture, books, antiques & so much more. All profits from the store directly support Adeara.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Adeara and remaining clothing items will be donated to More Than a Fad.

How the Exchange Works

1. Drop Off Donations

Attendees contribute 5 - 10 items of women's clothing for the exchange by dropping their items off at one of four locations in the days leading up to the event.

2. Clothing Tickets

Each attendee will receive 5 clothing tickets upon arrival at the exchange.

Find more items you love?

Additional tickets will be available for purchase with funds raised going to Adeara Recovery Centre.

3. Shop Donated Items!

Use tickets to select new-to-you items from the exchange to take home and complement your wardrobe.

Or, use your tickets for a chance to win sponsored door prizes!

At the Event:

Kaytlyn Beakhouse, lead organizer and owner of Sort & Simple Professional Organizing will be sharing strategies for intentional living and decluttering with impact.

Personal Stylist, Jennifer Clark of Jennifer Clark Styling, will be on site offering personal styling advice & tips! Jennifer has edited & restyled 100’s of closets & helped 1000’s of women discover clothing they never would have imagined they could wear.

Feeling cute and confident in your new outfit?? Celebrate with Female Empowerment Photographer, Emma Wood of Pretty as a Picture Photography. Step off the red carpet and into Emma’s on location ‘studio’ for a mini personal portrait experience that’s all about YOU!!
